ADVANCE in Brent

ADVANCE is a specialist project that supports survivors of intimate partner domestic abuse and honour based violence / Forced marriage in the borough of Brent.  They work as a co-coordinated response to tackle domestic abuse and work in partnership with Brent Police, Local Authority Housing Department, Brent Magistrates Court, Substance Misuse agencies, Probation and many others. 

Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) within ADVANCE provide support at the point of crisis and can advise on the police process and the criminal justice system, housing options, civil injunctions, target hardening and general safety planning.

 ADVANCE are now taking referrals for a woman resident in the borough of Brent aged 15 to 17 years old who consents to a referral being made. Forfurther information about this service and how to refer please download the attached leaflet.
